Our mission is to provide a little relief for a family from
the daily stress of having a child with “special needs” such as a
life-threatening illness, mental or physical disability. We do this
by taking the entire family out for a day of fun and fishing on the water

The Wish-A-Fish Foundation receives no government funding, so we are grateful for the generosity of the many individuals and companies who have supported us over the years. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of time and money to make one of these events a success. Local boat owners volunteer their time and their boats to take the families fishing. They are very generous with their support and use their own fishing tackle, supplies, and fuel for the trip. All cash donations go toward purchasing items for the children and families - - Hats, T-Shirts, Fishing Rods & Reels, Snacks, Drinks, Food for the picnic, Printing supplies for their pictures and certificates, and Gift bags for the children.
Your tax deductible donations are always welcome
and appreciated. Seeing the children's smiling faces will be the
best "thanks" you will ever receive! |

Types of donations received in the past: - Private contributions of cash or fishing related items for our flea market fundraisers - Organization contributions from seminars, raffles, fishing tournaments - - flea market table space or booth space at boat/fishing shows - Corporate contributions of cash, merchandise, tackle, life jackets, food and drinks - Services (printing, guided trips, etc.) - Gifts for the children (ex: fishing related toys) - Fishing rods & reels for the children to keep - Bait and tackle |
